I found Tim Urban’s Ted Talk titled, ¨Inside the mind of a master procrastinator¨ extremely fascinating. In the presentation, Urban analyzes the mind of procrastinators and their thinking process as they push deadlines back. He uses comedy with funny sketches and jokes to connect with the reader and drive his purpose. In his most effective moments, he used messy sketches of characters. These characters such as a fun monkey and a panic monster represented the thinking process of the procrastinators. This helped rationalize their thinking process.

I personally really enjoyed the Ted Talk and his point of view. I especially enjoyed the ending when he expressed a greater purpose and exposed everyone as procrastinators. He explained that the most dangerous procrastinations are the ones with no deadlines and that some people don’t even start their dreams as a result of this. As a person who tends to stay on top of my work, I found this very interesting. I never classified myself as a procrastinator but I realized that everyone is just some more than others. It showed me that there is actually a lot that I’m procrastinating, they just don’t have deadlines.
